RIS SYNERGY supports and increases the visibility of the scientific community by setting standards, digitalising services, and networking expertise.

The RIS Synergy project contains two sub-projects: “Intersections and Standards” and “Concept Study Research Portal”.

The sub-project “Interfaces and Standards” creates open access and exchange possibilities for use in systems used by funding agencies, research institutions, and the public administration. The focus is on data acquisition, applying the once-only principle, as well as on promoting the exchange of information about funding programmes, organisational structures, data from e-call systems, data management plans, and metadata from research outcomes.

The sub-project "Concept Study Research Portal" establishes the framework conditions and requirements for an internationally compatible research portal. This portal should present both information flowing into and coming out of the research landscape and create innovative networking opportunities for people in research, politics, and industry, as well as interested members of the public.
