“Deep learning” makes it possible to process large amounts of data using machine learning. In this project, a software platform is established based on specially configured hardware that offers researchers standardized, easy access to extensive computer resources (services) prepared for them. A central digital research infrastructure is to be created that is primarily tailored to the needs of researchers in economics. A powerful, reliable infrastructure is essential for digitalization. This infrastructure includes extensive computing resources and large, fast data storage, but also special software packages and IT solutions.

• Setting up and operating a central IT platform increases the level of utilization and leads to an increase in efficiency compared to decentralized solutions.
